Minimum Age Requirement
NutriFix is available to users aged 18 and over only.
By creating an account, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age. If you are under 18, you must not use the NutriFix Service.
Why We Require Users to Be 18+
NutriFix collects and processes sensitive personal data including:
- Special-category health data (medical conditions, medications)
- Genetic data (raw DNA files and derived genetic insights)
- Biomarker data (blood test results)
Due to the nature of this data and the applicable legal protections for children and young people, we have set a minimum age of 18 for all users.
The following laws and regulations inform this requirement:

Restricting the Service to users 18 and over is the simplest and most legally sound approach given the categories of data involved.
Registration Gate
At the point of account registration, users must actively confirm the following before an account can be created:
- I confirm that I am 18 years of age or older.
This confirmation must be actively given by the user — it is never pre-selected on your behalf. Accounts cannot be created without it.
If We Discover an Under-Age User
If NutriFix discovers or reasonably suspects that an account is held by a user under the age of 18, we will:
- Immediately suspend the account
- Contact the account holder at the registered email address requesting age verification
- If the user cannot verify they are 18+, permanently delete the account and all associated personal data within 90 days
No Service for Under-18s — No Exceptions
NutriFix does not offer a parental consent pathway or junior accounts. Under-18s may not use the Service in any capacity. This applies regardless of parental or guardian consent.
Reporting Under-Age Use
If you believe an account is being used by someone under the age of 18, please contact us at [email protected]. We take these reports seriously and will investigate promptly.
